Master of Science in Supply Chain Management Program

Application deadlines for the intakes in Singapore are:
Spring: Jan. 5 | Summer: May. 11 | Fall: Aug. 10

Priority deadlines (application fee waived):
Spring: Nov. 30 | Summer: Mar. 31 | Fall: Jun. 30

The following are required for admissions to the Rutgers MS SCM program:

    Formal Application and Fee

    Carefully complete, date, and sign the full application form and return it with a non-refundable application fee of SG$109 (non-refundable & inclusive of 9% GST), payable by cheque or electronic funds transfer. Cheques should be made payable to “Rutgers Business School Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd.” Do not send cash.

    The application fee will be waived for all applicants who submit their complete application packet (including transcripts, letters of reference, and test scores) by the priority deadline.

    Transcripts and Certificates

    Applicants must submit one transcript and certificate for each undergraduate and graduate institution they have attended.

    MS SCM Reference

    Applicants are responsible for securing three references. Your referee can complete the form and email to us directly from their work email to the Rutgers Business School Asia Pacific office in Singapore at apply@rutgers.edu.sg

    Essay

    You must write an essay on each of the three (3) topics below:

    1. Describe your motivation in applying for the Hybrid Master of Supply Chain Management program. How does it enhance your academic and professional development?
    2. Describe your greatest professional or academic achievement and how you added value to your organization.
    3. What particular challenges do students face in online learning environments? Explain your preparation strategy to become a successful online student by detailing at least three steps you are taking to manage these challenges.

    Additional/Optional Essay – provide any additional information not addressed elsewhere in your application materials which will help the Admissions Committee learn more about your candidacy. Please address any employment gaps, academic concerns, strengths or weaknesses.

    Test Scores

    GMAT/GRE: Most applicants do not require a GMAT or GRE scores unless advised by the admissions committee. For the GMAT, have Pearson Vue (pearsonvue.com) send your scores to code QK5-XT-51. This requirement is waived for applicants with a prior graduate degree (Masters, JD, PhD, etc.) from an accredited university. The MS SCM Program Director may also waive the requirement on a case-by-case basis for applicants with significant work experience or who are employed in unique industries or sectors that will add to the overall learning experience of the class.
    TOEFL/IELTS: The MS SCM program is conducted entirely in English and students must be proficient in both written and oral English. If your undergraduate degree was conducted in a language other than English, you may be required to provide proof of your English proficiency by submitting a TOEFL or IELTS score.
