Implementing Sustainable Supply Chain

In-person | 25 October 2024

Consumer and corporate buying behaviors have changed in the recent years towards more sustainable products and services with the least Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) impact. Social media has strong influence on consumer behaviour and adverse ESG news about businesses will result to instant boycott of their products and services. Most public listed companies are required to publish annual sustainability report to their stakeholders. Private companies with sustainable practices have easier access to bank loans than the ones without.
Responsible Sourcing is often identified by stakeholders to have significant environment, economic and social impact.

Global supply chain has become the centre-stage of sustainability concerns in the recent years. Globalisation and economic growth have caused huge environment and social impact, especially global warming, pollution and community wellbeing.

Member states of United Nations have pledged to achieve Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and limit global warming to 1.5 ⁰C from the pre-industrial level (COP26).

This is a not-for-credit course. E-certificates of Completion will be issued to participants upon the satisfactory completion of the course.
