Leadership 2040
Leadership 2040: Innovation, Personal Power and High Impact Business Presentations Skills:
In-person | 26 April – 04 May 2024
For today’s “global leader,” challenges and opportunities are myriad. More so than ever before the globally-oriented executive has to be innovative, creative, flexible, inspirational, purposeful, authentic, entrepreneurial, engaging, nimble, selfless and resourceful (even during unprecedented times). The future of work has become extremely uncertain. Partnerships and relationships during this time and beyond must be built, nurtured, and developed across cultures, business lines, continents, time-zones and various electronic media. For example, five generations are working simultaneously in the workplace. And the millennial impact is being felt more and more each day. In addition, ex-pats face many cultural leadership challenges.
Technology continues to disrupt and drive a great majority of our practices and communications. There are long-distance reporting situations, flex- schedules and job sharing. And due to COVID-19 more employees are working from home. We have more global partnerships and relationships than ever before. While these factors not only can impact one’s leadership style they can, perhaps, more insidiously, take a toll on one’s personal power, drive and passion.
This extremely experiential course provides strategies and poignant methods for leading innovatively and effectively during these tumultuous, disruptive and quickly changing times. The focus on this course will be to develop students’ innovative leadership skills and perspective, personal empowerment and executive presentation and communication skills (virtual and in-person).
This is a not-for-credit course. E-certificates of Completion will be issued to participants upon the satisfactory completion of the course.
