About the topic:

In response to the many pressures and challenges facing contemporary organizations, the work of crisis leadership—prior to, during, and in the aftermath of disruption—remains an imperative for leaders at all levels. In this interactive session, Dr. Ralph Gigliotti, Assistant Vice President for Organizational Leadership at Rutgers University and President of the Network for Change and Continuous Innovation, will provide a summary of a framework from his new book and will lead a discussion among participants. With an underlying commitment to values-based, principle-oriented, and people-centered practices, this framework consists of five leadership practices that are recognized as especially critical in the aftermath of crisis: (a) encourage learning, (b) inspire growth, (c) stimulate meaning-making, (d) pursue reinvention, and (e) advance renewal.
