Benjamin Wee is a seasoned leader with an extensive background in global supply chain and sustainable procurement across diverse industries, including manufacturing, food services, hospitality, tourism and financial institutions. Renowned for his adept leadership, he has a track record of driving performance turnarounds and achieving tangible results through process and quality improvement initiatives.

Currently serving as a co-founder of the Climate Tech startup, PlanetWise Pte Ltd, Benjamin holds the role of Chief Sustainability Officer and product owner. In this capacity, he successfully navigated the development of carbon management solutions, steering the process from conceptualization to product launch.

An advocate for leadership that makes a meaningful impact, Benjamin’s influence has been pivotal in implementing sustainable procurement processes, leading to his previous company’s recognition with Top Achievement Awards for packaging waste reduction. Actively engaged in promoting sustainability standards and practices in Southeast Asia, he collaborates with various organizations to drive positive change.

Specializing in sustainability and supply chain training, Benjamin has crafted comprehensive courseware, including “Understanding Sustainability for Business”, “Sustainable Procurement” and “Managing Carbon Emissions in Supply Chain”. He has successfully delivered sustainability training to multinational corporations, local universities, private education institutions, and non-profit organizations across Singapore and the broader Asian region. Benjamin’s consultancy services have been sought after by entities in the hospitality, food services, medical device manufacturing, and telecommunications sectors.

Further contributing to the sustainability landscape, Benjamin holds the role of Singapore Chapter co-chair of the Sustainable Procurement Pledge, exemplifying his commitment to fostering sustainable practices within the business community.
