Supply Chain affects all aspects of any business; sales, operations, finance, on-time delivery and quality, to name a few. With all the changes in the digital realm and the critical and multi-step stages of supply chain, it can be overwhelming to keep pace with – while continuing to create value for – the company. As such, today’s managers must understand the digital impact on processes, identify where the organization is vulnerable to disruption, and leverage new technological solutions to business integration.
This course will outline and define the Supply Chain 4.0 technologies and its application to activities in a supply chain. Learn how the Digitalization of Supply Chain has the capability to be flexible, responsive and adaptive which enables supply chain leaders to respond quickly to corporate needs, customer needs and market change.
This is a not-for-credit course. E-certificates of Completion will be issued to participants upon the satisfactory completion of the course.
This course provides an introduction to Digital Supply Chain Management (DSCM), exploring how digital technologies are transforming traditional supply chains.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Define a strategically relevant supply chain and its importance
- Identify key components of a supply chain and their interdependencies
- Define Digital Supply Chain Management (DSCM) and its core principles
- Identify key digital technologies impacting supply chains
- Understand the benefits and challenges of implementing DSCM
- Explore applications of DSCM across different supply chain functions
- Discuss the future trends of DSCM
