Has has conducted research and written papers on crime, bankruptcy, and lawyer behavior and incentives. This advanced strategy course provides students with a unique perspective on how corporations formulate strategies to allocate resources, create (or destroy) value for its business units, and how to implement strategic plans. Using the case study method, students will examine strategies of successful and failed corporations. Students will discuss practical and field-tested methods that corporate and business leaders use to achieve sought-after results. Lastly, students will be exposed to a wider perspective of management practices through breakout sessions and practical applications.
